Marsha Kaufman, MS, CHES, CSCS

Professor – Health Sciences and Wellness, Marathon Runner

Marsha holds several degrees and certifications in the areas of health, fitness, and wellness. Professionally, she works with several universities teaching a variety of courses in the health sciences. Her personal passion for activity is displayed as an avid marathon runner having completed the 50-State Challenge of a marathon in every state in 2017. Marsha’s love of running is evidenced through her inclusion of marathon runners and their motivation as the focus of dissertation in completing her Ph.D. in Health Education and Promotion in 2019.

Not to be overlooked, Marsha also served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve for seven years, carrying forward the fourth generation of family military service. This tradition continues as her oldest daughter is currently serving in the U.S. Army. Her appreciation for the military runs deep. Hence, her support for the Patriots’ Run Club.
